Stallion Semen Freezing

Many stallion owners elect to have semen collected and frozen, either as insurance in case of disease, change of fertility, or death of the stallion, or in order to service a mare book while a stallion remains in competition.

The clinic uses a programmable cell freezer to freeze semen. We can determine the best extender for the individual stallion and freeze in a controlled manner in order to maximize post-thaw motility.

ICSI
(Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection)

An advanced reproductive technique whereby equine oocytes are retrieved from a mare via transvaginal ultrasound guided needle aspiration (TVA / OPU) of follicles.

Sports Medicine

In addition to general, dental, and emergency vet services and surgery, the clinic operates a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine with a Canon plate to provide exceptional imaging, as well as an Exago ultrasound with tendon probe for soft tissue evaluation in the successful diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness and injury affecting show and performance horses.

Fresh / Frozen
Artificial Insemination

Mares are housed at the clinic and monitored throughout their cycle in order to be bred at the appropriate time with fresh or frozen semen.
