Buying a new horse can be stressful. Health and soundness evaluations are a must and give the insight needed to make an informed decision prior to purchasing the horse. For this, HVS provides pre-purchase exams combining multiple exams into one comprehensive picture.

Here, horses are given a full body exam as well as a complete lameness exam to ensure total health or to pinpoint issues. Structure and conformation are taken into account to confirm that the horse is appropriate for its intended use, and every effort is made to ensure that your purchase will be a long lasting partnership between owner and horse.

ICSI
(Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection)

An advanced reproductive technique whereby equine oocytes are retrieved from a mare via transvaginal ultrasound guided needle aspiration (TVA / OPU) of follicles.

Sports Medicine

In addition to general, dental, and emergency vet services and surgery, the clinic operates a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine with a Canon plate to provide exceptional imaging, as well as an Exago ultrasound with tendon probe for soft tissue evaluation in the successful diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness and injury affecting show and performance horses.
